Vintage Excelsior #5987 key. This is an original New Old Stock (NOS) Excelsior key and not a copy. Excelsior locks were found on a variety of items, from basic luggage & suitcases to steamer trunks, foot lockers, briefcases, saddle bags, etc. Most of the locks have the code number stamped on them somewhere. Check your locks to make sure you buy the correct key. The key blank material is nickel plated steel. As such, some keys may have minor surface flaws. This is just one of a hoard of the New Old Stock luggage keys we came across during our warehouse move.
